Hotel Central Wellness - Sorrento

Great place with its amazing wifi, helpful luggage storage, and relaxing seasonal outdoor pool. On my first visit, the staff gave excellent currency exchange recommendations. I always return, especially for Christmas!

The room was fine and the air conditioning was good.

The breakfast is pretty bad. Terrible coffee and bad fake orange juice. There is toast and cereal though.

Hotel staff was great, lots of help and good service. Hotel parking (While not noted in their website) was reasonably for 15 euros a day, is covered and gated about 100 meters from the hotel (just like any other public parking not responsible for damages, but that is not hotel fault, is normal for the area) Room was great and cozy (If you hear reviews about rooms being small, is probably from people that have never traveled to Europe or outside usa for that matter...rooms are good size for European Hotels) Breakfast while basic was very good and you can place requests. The hotel while not in the center of the town, is actually located just about 10 minutes from the mail plaza and few more minutes from the port. If you dont feel like hotel restaurant food, a 1 minute walk will get you to a great local pizzeria and right across the street there is a bar pizzeria.

**This by no means be taken as a fault or bad thing for the hotel, but just so people can make a educated choice*** The hotel is located about 10 minute walk to the main plaza were you can take bus to port, is ok for most people, but people with walking issues or small children be prepared, by no means impossible or a unsafe, but if you never been outside the usa, it will take some used to it.

pleasant staff but inconvenient location

The hotel staff was courteous and attentive during my four-night stay. The pool area is inviting, with ample sunbeds and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The gym facilities were excellent and well-maintained were nice.

The location required a longer walk to central attractions.

We had a triple room with a balcony overlooking the pool and courtyard. It had air conditioning, a mini-fridge stocked with snacks, and a good shower with decent water pressure. Breakfast had a fantastic selection, especially the pastries and fresh fruits. Loved the pool area and the friendly atmosphere, especially from the staff who were super helpful.

Had a really enjoyable stay for our silver wedding, would come here again. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the balcony overlooked the city. The venue had an exceptionally nice location next to a race track. We liked amazing cakes and meats...

All the services were exceptional.

The quadruple room was a decent size and had air conditioning. We appreciated the clean sheets and towels every day. Our room faced a busy road, quite noisy at night-definitely not ideal for light sleepers. The bathroom was nice, and overall, it was comfortable for our family, but that street noise was a concern.

Friendly staff stored our bags for hours, room was a good size, but mattress was too hard.

We went for the cheapest option which was run of the house where the room was allocated on arrival. We were given a lovely room at the top of the hotel with a great balcony and views. The hotel is on a busy main road but you couldn't hear any noise when the windows were closed and the room was air conditioned. Great location - 15 mins walk into the heart of Sorrento which is a fantastic, clean, buzzy city. There is a courtesy bus but we never used it. The staff was great and the hotel and swimming pool spotlessly clean. Sun beds and umbrellas free and you can hire a towel for the pool for €5 for the week so no need to carry heavy towels with you. There is a great little restaurant across the road where you can get a massive pizza made for sharing, 1/2 carafe of wine, large beer, salad and chips for €17! We couldn't recommend the hotel and area highly enough. Great location from centre, port and station. One tip! If you are planning a trip to Amalfi - get the Hydrofoil - we went by bus and it's a ridiculously long journey, mad traffic and drivers - we got the Hydrofoil back!! All in all we had a great holiday.
